The business was established in November 2011 starting operations with little seed capital operating from a small 60m2 factory. The company was officially registered by January 2012 and currently operates out of a ±400 sq. meter factory located in Lansdowne, Cape Town. MachMan is presently owned by Wesley Puccini (founder) and Theunis de Jong employing 9 fulltime workers.
Present clients include RCL Foods, Amaro Foods, Takealot, Pesto Princess, Spice Mecca, Rhodes Food Group, Nulaid, Catwalk Cosmetics, Crown National, Marcel’s Frozen Yogurt, NoMU, Cape Herb and Spice and large retail suppliers, amongst others.
Apart from the day to day running of MachMan by the two owner-directors, the business consists of Ivan Michaels as the Business Development Manager with many years of technical experience; Rudi Solomons as the Business Support Manager and acting Operations Manager while Roger Kannemeyer is a highly experienced artisan controlling the Workshop. In addition, there is an administrator and 3 technicians. Future objectives are to expand the customer base and geographical footprint in Gauteng and Africa.

Meet Our Team
Founder director of MachMan Pty Ltd in 2012. Extensive industry related experience in semi-automated & automated machinery including design, manufacturing, maintenance, installation & commissioning as well as project management.
Experience gained in HR, finance management, marketing and business management during employment in corporate. Self employed since 1996. Business ventures included hospitality, retail, education, property and engineering.

Turner trade tested ( 15 yrs qualified)
– All round machinist – experienced on the lathe, milling machine, drilling etc
– Experience in scheduled machine servicing
– Responsible for annual machine shut downs
– running operations for the company
– Responsible for sales Customer liaisons
– Experienced in machine installations and training

Rudi joined MachMan in 2017. Rudi believes that the strength of any successful business is its people.
He dedicates himself to building strong and fruitful working relationships with all stake holders through
excellent communication. After more than a decade’s work experience, Rudi mastered the key principles
and outputs of the administrative process, which he now manages with dedication and pride. Holding a
ND in Office Management and a Post Graduate in Business Administration alongside his 12 years’
experience across several disciplines, he is equipped to effectively manage the administrative process of
MachMan. He is furthermore responsible for functions such as Debtors, HR, Bookkeeping, Facilities,
Health & Safety and likes to get involved with the management of projects.
He dedicates himself to building strong and fruitful working relationships with all stake holders through
excellent communication. After more than a decade’s work experience, Rudi mastered the key principles
and outputs of the administrative process, which he now manages with dedication and pride. Holding a

Louise recently joined Machman after restructuring of the Admin Department.
Prior to joining MachMan, Louise gained valuable experience as Personal Assistant to directors and executive managers for many years. Administratively, she worked as a Debtors & Creditors Clerk, Administration & Membership Clerk, Payroll Administrator and Receptionist.
Started technical career in the automotive industry.
